She grownup in Kingsgrove, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia along with her sisters actress and model Shibani Dandekar and Apeksha Dandekar.
If we come to her love life, in 2011 she dated cricketer Irfan Pathan after that she broke up with him and started dating VJ and Host Ranvijay Singh after year in relationship she got married to Ranvijay Singh but later they denied and separated. At that moment Anusha dating TV Actor Karan Kundra.

Early age of 19 Anusha Dandekar’s moved to Mumbai, India for further carreer option in entertain industry. She started working as host in MTV’s show House of Style’. Then she hosted several MTV India’s Shows. She hosted ‘MTV Roadies’, ‘MTV Teen Diva’, ‘MTV Love School’, ‘MTV Dance Crew’, and ‘MTV News’ for MTV. She made her debut on the bollywood with the movie ‘Mumbai Matinee’ in 2003.
After two years she got feautered in ‘Viruddh’ with costars Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore and John Abraham. From her performance int this film won her Maharastra Time Awards. After in 2006 she acted on ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’ with co stars Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt. In 2012 she made her debut in Marathi movie Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha. Also same year she debut on single music video Better Than Your Ex. This song in Englsh and released on June. She also promote some well known brands ie. Reebok, Toni & Guy, Crocs and Lee Jeans. She also runs a YouTube channel where she share some beauty tips and general tips.
