The Bezos couple had another high-profile divorce

Bill Gates counts among the wealthiest people in the world. According to Forbes, Gates has a net worth of approximately $130.5 billion.

Another high-profile split before Gates’s divorce announcement was of Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, and his wife MacKenzie Bezos in July 2019.

Due to the divorce, Jeff Bezos’s wife, MacKenzie, got around 4% of Amazon’s stake. MacKenzie got 35 billion dollars, which made her one of the wealthiest women in the world. However, she plans to give away the maximum amount of that money into charity through the Giving Pledge. She is still the third richest woman in the world, which will likely rank down after the donation.
